Tomorrow is our field trip to St. Cloud. We will be starting off at the Skatin' Place for roller skating. We will then go on to the Paramount Theatre to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
Please have your child wear boots, as we will be getting snow this evening. Long socks are highly recommended to prevent roller skates from rubbing. Students need to remember to pack their own lunches, and we are discouraging soda pop. The children are welcome to bring a few extra dollars for buying treats/junk at the Skatin' Place. Please note that the video arcade area will be off limits.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Pioneer Elementary will be having parent/teacher conferences tonight and tomorrow evening. Please call Shari if you are uncertain of your scheduled time.
We have completed our lessons on subtraction of 3 and 4-digit numbers. Today we begin a money unit. The math assignment is PW31.
The students have completed their first quarter of third grade. We are focusing heavily on reading as much as possible. Everyone has done a great job with reading for our Reading Counts program. The students have each set a new goal for 2nd quarter and plan to work hard to meet it.
